KATA COMBAT - SELF DEFENCE & FITNESS
Training 6th MarchPublished 06/03/2015We were in a smaller hall today so training had to be adapted slightly. We focused on kicks - they were drilled very slowly using the mirror as an aid. Then again faster with each round. We paired up and drilled each kick against one another for targetting and distance training, first ten slowly followed by ten fast.
Then onto Kata, Tekki Shodan once slowly and once fast. Gojushiho Sho once slowly and once fast.
Just before we finished it was Tabata time!
Press ups | Sit ups | Press ups | Sit ups | Left leg freestyle combo | Jumping jacks | Right leg freestyle combo | Jumping Jacks.
And to finish, it was some dynamic stretching.
